How did this vacation feeder work out for you? Any recommendations?

Those vacation feeders are crap. They disintegrate in the tank and foul the water. Fish either ignore them or eat them in a matter of hours. If you're just going to be gone a week they will be fine without food. If you're really that worried have a friend come by ONCE while you're gone and feed. You're better off not feeding than putting one of those things in your tank. I did that before I knew better and came home to a tank full of bloated or dead fish.
