A Question for Native Floridians?

I have never put sugar on a Grit before and I am from Mississippi, originally....Why does it upset you that others want to call Florida their home?....It does not just belong to the people who were born there. If that was the case, so many people would not migrate to other states and set up homes in other areas of the world...This world is big enough for us all to share so be nice>:)
